DARE is a range of educational products delivered uniquely to help children and young people develop the skills and knowledge to help them grow up in a drug using world. The programmes address issues including drugs, violence, tobacco, alcohol and other harmful substances, and promotes safe and healthy living.
The purpose of the various programmes is to develop a sense of responsibility in children and young people, and give them the skills to identify and deal positively with peer pressure.
DARE works in local partnerships with, Local Education Authorities, Drug & Alcohol Action Teams, Health Authorities and Police.
